Tyburn Neighbourhood Team Weekly round up |
||
|
Here’s our weekly round up from the Tyburn neighbourhood policing team. What’s been happening: Tyburn Neighbourhood Officers have made 2 arrests one being a prolific shop lifter for numerous shop thefts and another being a prolific beggar who was found to be wanted for various other offences.
Tyburn Neighbourhood Officers and PCSO’S have conducted a knife arch for a Castle Vale school. Knife arches can be a good opportunity to deter young people from carrying weapons. If a young person is found with a weapon they will be dealt with appropriately whether that be a community resolution or something more serious if necessary.
Tyburn Neighbourhood officers have issued a fixed penalty notice for dangerous driving. The individual will receive a ticket and points will go onto their license. In the UK, you generally face a driving ban (suspension) if you accumulate 12 or more penalty points within a 3-year period, a process known as "totting up". Ultimately the points give the individual a chance to correct their driving conduct until they reach 12.
PCSO’S have conducted a community pop up, this has given Tyburn residents an opportunity to share concerns and report information of interest to us.
PCSO’s have been dealing with a stolen motorbike. As police workers we deal with a lot of vehicle crime from stolen vehicles to untaxed vehicles that require being seized.
